Brandi McMichael is a designer, entrepreneur, and community builder who has spent more than two decades helping Colorado’s creative talent grow. She founded Fashion Denver in 2004, creating opportunities for independent designers to showcase their work, connect with audiences, and build businesses through fashion markets, runway shows, and business development support.

Her entrepreneurial journey began at age 23 with b.shigley designs, a collection of original handbags that reached boutiques in cities including Paris, London, and New York. Her experience building her own brand shaped her commitment to helping other creatives navigate entrepreneurship. A recipient of Westword’s Mastermind Award, Brandi brings both creative insight and practical business experience to her work with emerging talent.

Beyond fashion, her work with CreativeMornings/Denver and her venture, Kingdom Work, reflects a broader dedication to bringing people together and helping entrepreneurs turn meaningful ideas into action. Across her projects, community, creativity, and purpose remain at the center of her work.
